Associations

To hone the talents and prepare the students for participating in various intra as well as inter college competitions many societies have been formed which remain active throughout the year, guiding them and chiselling their talents. Students are motivated to participate in declamation contests, debates, quiz, poetic recitation and paper reading contests etc. by English Literary Society, Abhivyakti Parishad, Sanskrit Parisad, Commerce Club, Economic Forum, Maths and Statistics Society, Science Association, Psychology Association, Council for Social Sciences and Envicon Society.

Cultural Forum and Sangeet Parishad

The society works hard throughout the year and the great medal tally in Zonal and Inter-Zonal Youth festival is ample proof of it. A talent finding competition ‘Chayanika’ is organized by them and the selected students are groomed for participation in various competitions. This is one of the most vibrant societies of the college and they add zest and colour to all the college events and festivals.

Fine Arts Association

This society is bustling with activity throughout the year and the rich prize haul in Zonal and Inter-Zonal Youth festivals is ample evidence for it. They also organize Chayanika wherein contests in Clay Modeling, Poster Making, Cartooning, Painting, Best out of waste, Collage, Photography and Rangoli are organized. The efforts are duly rewarded with students bringing bagful of prizes throughout the year.

Career Guidance and Placement Cell

The cell is bustling with activity all the year around. Personality Development workshops are organized to prepare the girls for group discussions and interviews. Noted people from DRDA and DVDA Sonepat in association with Team Lease, IIJT are invited to enlighten the students. Distinguished people from govt. and non-govt. organisations are invited for the benefit of girls. As a result students are selected in WIPRO, IBM Daksh and many such leading companies.

Sports

Education is incomplete without active participation in sports. We truly follow the dictum. We have a fully functional and well equipped indoor and an outdoor shooting range. The college provides weight lifting, baseball, throwball, handball, hockey, taekwondo, athletics and badminton facilities. We organize a 2-day Annual Sports Meet wherein renowned sports persons are invited to encourage our budding sports lovers. We have produced national as well as international players.

NCC

We have one unit consisting of 106 students from UG and PG Courses. They attend all the mandatory ATC Camps and bring laurels to the college by winning prizes in the competitions.They take ‘C’ Certificate and ‘B’Certificate examination also. Our Students participate in RD camps every year.

NSS (National Service Scheme)

We are extremely proud of our NSS volunteers and the commendable work done by them. Many one-day camps and a seven-day camp is organised where in various kinds of activities are arranged for the benefit of volunteers. Distingiushed persons from various fields are invited to give lectures to the volunteers to spread general awareness. The volunteers take out rallies on various topics of social awarenees and environmental concern.

Women Cell

The College has a very active Women Cell that organises talks/extension lectures on various women-oriented topics. Competitions are organised on Diwali, Lohri, Teej and other such occasions for the benefit of students.

Red Cross Society

Our unit consists of ten girls. They attend a five day District level Youth Red Cross Training Camp, where the students are told about First Aid Training, Impact of Global Warming, Blood Donation and diseases like Malaria, TB, HIV AIDS, Hepatitis B and C. Our students won many prizes in the activities organized in the camp.

Student Welfare Commitee

The Commitee looks after the welfare of students. It is open to suggestions, views from students on academic curriculum, infrastructure, cleanliness and other facilities in the college. Help is given to needy students In addition to all this, fee concession, books from Book Bank and various scholarships are an annual feature of the college.
